Pureland Reiki 

 The purpose of placing the hands upon another’s body is to assist the energy to move through their body. A one hour Reiki treatment consists of the practitioner placing their hands on specific body regions of the patient. This will strengthen and clear the client’s energy.
 
 A basic treatment involves the use of seventeen hand positions. It can take between sixty and ninety minutes. The client remains fully clothed and can relax on a massage table. After a session, the client should feel balanced and refreshed.
